Travelodge - West Edmonton, AB

Yum!
It being Canada Day week-end, I had difficulty finding a place near Edmonton for one night., until I realized that very few people would spend the night in a hotel as a way to celebrate...the Travelodge had parking for the RV (I was even able to use an electrical outlet in the parking lot, normally used for block heaters in the winter).  Deb found a Washer and Dryer (and 20 laundry loonies...Canadian dollar coins are called loonies).  I found a nice desk to do some paperwork, Drex found an air conditioner.  They even had a restaurant that looked like IHOP but the food was delicious.  After dinner we tried out the two story waterslide.  The average age of the people on the slide was probably about ten, and that included the two of us.

Finally off to Jasper...the last stop on the first leg of our trip.

From Deb: Hope to have some spectacular photos once we see the Rockies!
