Artwork Pickup Trip Jun 18 - 20

Took in Harper's Ferry ( Senior Pass = Free ) Saw John Brown's Fort (he is actually an ancestor of mine) We could have taken a shuttle bus, but we walked the three miles round trip instead. Drex thought it was just a little warm and fixed it for himself.

West Virginia Trip Jun 3 - 7

Finally tried the microwave/convection oven to make some pizza in the Appalachian Mountains.

Great Dismal Swamp Trip May 4-7

Well the dog was exhausted, but we had a great time in the Great Dismal Swamp. We canoed at Merchant Mill Pond in North Carolina, as we were deciding whether or not to turn around, the clouds darkened. Even the alligators noticed, so we headed back, got back to the RV just as it started to rain. Nothing like sitting under the awning, watching the rain fall with a nice glass of grape juice ( no alcohol allowed ;o)

Okefenokee Swamp, GA

Georgia, deep into the Okefenokee swamp. About as remote as you would want to get. Only sixty miles to the nearest grocery store.
